Hello!
I'm Tatjana, a lifelong reader, artist and storyteller.
I am known for engaging and diverse characters, loving attention to detail, and a joyful color palette. I like to paint with watercolor, gouache, and colored pencils. My work is informed and inspired by my Swiss childhood, folk art, fairy tales, travel, a love of history and time-worn surfaces, vintage children’s books and ephemera, dreams of the ocean, and nature in sunny South Carolina where I live today with my family.
I have illustrated more than 25 books for children, and my artwork has been published in books and magazines in the US and abroad.
